Cannondale is conducting a recall.
All Cannondale road bikes, touring bikes and Cyclocross (2010 and 2011 models) assembled in Europe and shipped between the 1st of May 2010 and the 17th of September 2010 are subject to this recall.
A potential defect was found on the brake inner cables that we specify for our road bike and touring bikes. The problem is coming from the head of the cables that might break with a lower force than what the quality standards requires. These bikes are therefore dangerous to ride.
Please locate your serial number on the under-side of your bicycle and enter the seven (7) alpha-numeric characters into the below form field to find out if your bike is affected.
Please contact your authorized Cannondale shop if your bike is affected. New brake cables will be provided to you ASAP for replacement.
